In this article, we have a recent survey which is talking about the forecast in leisure travel in US for the new year.
And this forecast is not really optimistic because, it plans on 2% for leisure travel, 2.5% for business travel and 3% for Inbound travel.
Nevertheless, narrator says that even with this weak amount of percentage, that could be enough for the industry and maybe industry will start to create jobs.
Operators will just have to find to way to make profit. And they were talking in this article, that one way could be work on margins....
Here, we have an actual article about a subject which is touching all people on the profession. Everybody is worried about the toursim industry and would forget the last year.
I think, that after the financial crisis, people will start again to travel and tourism will be relaunched. It is just a time question.
People like travel. That is a fact. And even if we meet some difficulties in our work and with our money, since we began to travel, we can not stop anymore.
That's why, even if forecasts are not high, i think this profession have had the worst behind it. And leisure and business travel will increase soon. That is a personnal opinion.
